The Tzu Chi Foundation will hold a ‘New Year Candlelight Ceremony’ on February 12, 2011 at 2pm at the auditorium of Tzu Chi Academy. Tzu Chi sincerely invites you, your family, and your friends to come together to reflect on the activities and progress made in 2010, and to pray for the purification of our minds, and for a peaceful world free from catastrophic disasters.
The program will include dancing and sign language performances, videos of activities held in 2010, enlightenment ceremony, and the distribution of red envelops. In addition, Tzu Ching will perform a ‘Fashion Show’ to model eco clothing which is made out of recycled bottles; Tzu Shao will perform a skit, Veggie Country Passport, to demonstrate that being a vegetarian is not only a wholesome life style, but also reduces pollution.
Tea and snacks will be provided after the program.
